There are 2 key places to measure your dog to select the perfect fit for his equipment.
Neck measurement: Our size chart for dog collars and harnesses start with the measurement of the neck. Measure the neck’s circumference on the lower section next to the chest. Make sure you can insert 2 fingers in between the neck and the measurement tape. It is important to allow the dog to have some breathing space during the exercise activity and avoid having the collar or harness too tight, this is why we suggest leaving this space during the measurement process.
Back measurement: The length of the dog's back should be measured from the center of the shoulders to the junction of the tail, being careful not to include parts of the neck and tail. The dog must be standing, make sure the head is in a neutral position. The size of the back is often required for the purchase of jackets and suits.
All Neewa products can be washed using a laundry machine and is recommended to use non-acid based chemicals.
Before starting any sport activity, it is recommended to visit a veterinarian and have your go through a checkup to know his health condition. We make this same recommendation for you as it is good to visit a doctor for the same reason. They will give you the best advice on how to proceed with your new sport activity! If you have the approval from both experts, running with your dog will create a great bond, especially at the earliest stage of your dog’s life. Remember to choose a place or a trail that has a ground that does not irritate your dog’s paw or buy some dog boots for protection.
We do offer replacement parts for buckles and others, depending on the part missing or damaged. Please contact us for more details.

A dog with pulling habits is very common and it can be trained not to do it. The dog pulls because of a collar that is tight, or because he is distracted by something. Neewa No-Pull harness is a multipurpose solution for walking, hiking and running and it has a front leash attachment that discourages the dog from pulling. Besides that a dog trainer can give you advice on how to train your dog to avoid pulling.
Your dog might be a master in escaping from a harness, but it might be because the harnesses you bought for him were not comfortable. Dogs are free souls and they usually do not like to be constrained in something. Even if there is not an escape-proof harness, Neewa has very comfortable paddings and non-allergenic structure which might solve your problem.
The Adjustable Racing Harness is a H-Shape type that gives more freedom to the dog around the belly and it’s suggested for activity with few change of direction or mostly linear trajectories. The Perfect-Fit Harness is a X-Back type suggested for frequent change of direction, thanks to a more wrapping design, it gives the dog more traction when changing direction.
The choice of H-Shape or X-Back type is personal. The main difference is that the H-Shape is more comfortable for the dog around the belly, but in case of a trail with frequent change of direction, the X-Back type, thanks to a more wrapping design from the chest to the belly, it gives the dog more traction control. So if your typical activity is a linear trail, our Adjustable Racing Harness is perfect, instead if you do more mixed trails with several curves, our Sled Pro Harness, or our X-Back Harness (if lean dog) or our Perfect-Fit Harness are the best choices for your needs.
The Perfect-fit Harness is a X-Back type which ensure a great traction for the dog during the pulling activity. It's designed from our Sled Pro Harness where we covered the need of adding 8 adjusting points to allow the best fit to most dogs breeds with wide neck.
The Sled Pro Harness and the X-Back Harness are both X-back type with padding and they are not adjustable. The main difference is that the X-Back Harness is made in nylon instead of polypropylene (for better tolerance of the lowest temperatures) and they are designed on the typical sled dogs shape which have narrow chest and lean body. So if your dog has a lean body and narrow chest, instead of the Sled Pro Harness, you better choose the X-Back Harness.
