This harness is exactly what I needed! It fits my pup perfect and so far the material is sturdy. Ive had it for two weeks now and so far so good! Perfect for running/jogging.
I bought this for my border collie as an alternative to his other harness because during the hot summer months he needed something cooler. This fits the bill. It provides the control I need, has padding in all the right places, and is much cooler for him to wear.
We got this harness for our Labrador Retriever puppy. She was just at the age where it could fit her at its smallest adjustment And now a few months later, shes starting to get to the point where we may have to replace it due to her growing size..The intent of this type of harness is to relieve pressure against the neck that would occur with a regular collar. Its better for the dog because it helps avoid damaging the trachea due too too much pressure as the dog pulls or strains against a leash, especially over time. The harness is designed to transfer the pressur to the chest (where a lot of muscle and bone is and away from the soft tissue of the neck. A ring at the top back of the harness is used to clip a leash onto. This is a harness made for more athletic use, which Im afraid Im not really meeting in my exercise of my dog. Its held up well to our daily walks without any loosening stitching or seams. The stitching is quite robust and uses a higher gauge thread, which means its built for durability and a bit of abuse. I could easily see this harness lasting for years without any issue due to the overall build quality. If I were to be taking her running instead of walking, I have no doubt the outcome would be the same. This harness is built much like many of these harnesses, padding at the chest and underneath between the legs and along the rib cage with straps that go around the back of the neck and over the back from the rib cage. It appears to be well suited for a Labrador's body build with excellent support against pulling and straining against a leash. The fabric used is the same sort of nylon used for backpack shoulder straps with about the same amount of cushioning. The clip straps are made of nylon with clips similar to those used on backpacks. It has reflective lines around the front and back of the harness to help with visibility in the dark.Ive been generally satisfied with this harness. I honestly can't think of any negatives to this product. When it does come time to replace it, I will be looking to this brand for the larger size because of how well its worn over the past quarter year. Definitely recommended.
This is a pretty good harness, solid construction and as effective as a harness you would buy from Pet Smart.
This is my dogs second one already and we love it! Its sturdy but lightweight and not too much covering, which is important for us as we live in hot temperatures all year long.
